Spike’s Shine Tips
When my kitchen is clean, my whole restaurant shines. Here are some of my favorite tips for keeping a polished kitchen.
Blenders: Fill part way with hot water and add a drop of Dawn Professional detergent. Cover and turn it on for a few seconds. Rinse, sanitize, and drain dry.
Broilers or Oven Trays: Spray the dirty broiler pans with Dawn Power Dissolver and wipe the grease away. No scrubbing required and ideal for use on baked and burned on grease. Effective for pots, pans, dishes, stoves, ovens and grills.
Cutting Boards: Wash in a sink of filled with water and the right amount of dish soap. Rinse, then sanitize in your third sink.
Food Processors: Disassemble according to manufacturer directions. Wash, rinse, and sanitize removable parts, then let air dry before re-assembling.
Pots & Pans: Baked-on food? Greasy residue? Dawn Manual Pot and Pan Detergent is a dependable dishwashing liquid that fights grease, leaving you squeaky clean pots, pans and dishes. The long lasting suds can even help reduce sink changeover.
Sink: Keep sinks sprayed clean when not in use. Use a few drops of Dawn on a wet towel to remove greasy residue and keeps them sparkling clean.
Stainless hoods, appliances, and counters Spray Spic-N-Span All Purpose Spray and Glass Cleaner on the surface and wipe clean. Your stainless will sparkle and shine.
